Is Basic Math a Partisan Issue?
Would you agree that asking politicians to make 1+1=2 is something all citizens could agree on?
At home we make choices to make sure we pay our bills each and every month. As a small business owner, my financial planning firm would be out of business if I used clients money by simply giving them an I.O.U. In fact law enforcement officials would likely indict me if I handled clients money the way politicians in Washington handle yours.
Am I to be labeled as a so-called right wing extremist simply because I don’t want my children to inherit a country that sends them bills they can’t afford for the Boomer Generations insatiable appetite to run up trillions of debt?
Meanwhile Congress and the President vote for spending we can’t pay for, vote in new entitlements by using fuzzy math at best and “earmarks” are running rampart even after the President promised not to sign budgets with them.
Isn’t it in our national interest to vote out politicians of both parties who can not or will not recognize thier spending is a threat to our national security?
